LEC 2017 - Dream Bigger, Aim Higher

How can we make content more appealing to students? Topics become more interesting when presented in context. Context adds value to content. This talk presents a personal project that I’ve developed outside the school environment and that has helped me to better understand the process of learning through contextualization. I will present my personal project and then provide some examples of how I´m enhancing my science classes with context. This talks aims to inspire you to find creative ways to engage students in your classes and pursue deep learning.
